Cocktail AUDIO X14
The Cocktail Audio X14 is the music server successor to the X12, which retains its compact size but takes the many features for listening to liquid music in all its variations to the nth degree.
You can use the new CocktailAUDIO X14 either as a complete All-In-One system, to which you just need to add a pair of speakers to get a high-end Hi-Fi system; or you can decide to connect the X14 to your existing audio amplifier, and use it as a versatile and powerful digital source at the same time.
The Cocktail Audio X14 Music Server can read today’s most important audio formats in standard, high and very high resolution, including WAV and FLAC at 24Bit/192KHz, the encoding system DSD ( DSD64 and DSD128, the newest audio format MQA (Master Quality Authenticated), the PCM master format DXD, as well as, of course, a host of other codec variants, including MP3, ALAC, AIFF, Ogg Vorbis, APE CUE, etc.
It incorporates the latest generation of high-fidelity Cirrus Logic DAC (Digital to Analog Converter).
To offer you full integration with your smart devices, the Cocktail Audio X14 comes with support for Bluetooth aptX audio technology as standard.
You can send and play music through the Cocktail Audio X14 quickly and easily directly from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone and tablet.
But not only that! The X14 also supports Apple’s Airplayprotocol, as well as UPnP and DLNA, for seamless integration with other multimedia devices you own.
Thanks to the powerful Cortex A9 CPU running at 1 Ghz (the same CPU as on the N15D, X35, X45 and X50D), the Cocktail Audio X14 is always fast, responsive and satisfying to use.
The 5″ colour TFT screen ensures excellent visibility of covers and metadata of the music being played.
You can control the X14 either through the complete remote control supplied, or through any Smartphone or Tablet with Android or iOS operating system, by installing the free and official Novatron MusicX app.
If you wish, you can also manage the music archive of the Cocktail Audio X14 via any computer (Windows, Apple, Linux) using a simple browser such as Chrome or Firefox. An intuitive graphical user interface (Web GUI) allows you to organise your entire music library with great convenience.
