The new Cayin CS-55CD is a CD player with added value. Thanks also to the presence of an audio input, USB asynchronous, it is possible to use this Cd-Player as an external DAC converter, based on the powerful Burr-Brown PCM5101 audio conversion chip. This D/A converter is able to achieve a very high resolution and can read music files up to 32 bit / 384 KHz.
The output stage of the Cayin CS-55CD is also extremely refined and is of the valve type, thanks to the adoption of a double 12AU7 (ECC82) valve preamp triode.
The standard version also comes with a handy remote control, through which you can control all the primary and secondary functions of the CD player (and, if you also have the Cayin CS-55A integrated amplifier, the functions of the latter).
