The new Cayin Audio CS-100A vacuum tube amplifier can operate in two distinct modes and delivers 80 watts per channel in Class AB, when used in Ultra-linear mode, or50 watts per channel in triode mode.
Mode selection can be easily performed via remote control during the listening session.
Thanks to the presence of an integrated measuring instrument, it is possible toadjust the Bias in complete autonomy and with maximum safety.
A selector switch on the rear panel of the Cayin CS100A amplifier allows the transformer windings to be adapted for alternative use of KT-88 or EL-34 power tubes.
Theinternal wiring is made without compromise and in the best tradition of valve amplifiers, i.e. with soldering in the air from point to point and with thin silver wires.
The Cayin CS-100A employs 6sn7 single-triode valves for voltage amplification, 12AU7EHfor phase inversion/voltage amplification and 12BH7EHas a valve driver and for voltage amplification, and 8 KT-88 (or EL- 34) valves.
A special delay circuit protects the amplifier and extends the operating cycle of internal components and electron beam valves.
Volume control is by an Alps high-performance potentiometer, the capacitorsused are audio-grade, the resistorsare carbonfilm, the power section consists of a toroidal, oversized transformer, and the output section employs EI type transformers.
These measures translate into the highest level of audio performance and make the Cayin CS-100A an absolute reference in the world of high-end tube-based amplification.
