The S5 power amplifier is designed in Class AB and delivers 500 watts per channel into an 8 ohm load or 800 watts into a 4 ohm load.

It employs dual oversized, coupled toroidal transformers, developed and built by Rotel, with 2200 Volts/Amps of output current for exceptional bass energy, while maintaining control and precision down to the smallest detail.

Four BHC capacitors (made in the UK) provide 188,000uF of energy reserve, immediately and always available to ensure huge power output, fast, accurate, even under extreme load conditions.

On the front is a high-resolution display that can be set to various functions and indications.

XLR and RCA inputs, IR remote control, Ethernet and RS232 connections, and rhodium-plated speaker terminals complete the high-quality specifications and reinforce the attention to detail found in this series.

Audio performance must be engineered from product concept through production. This is evidenced in the S5 as the result of countless hours of engineering design reviews, critical component evaluation and sonic tuning. An elegant industrial design puts the finishing touch on this amplifier with a font panel color display and Michi exclusive custom high current 5-way rhodium plated binding posts. The included remote control provides easy setup and operation with RS232 and Ethernet connections supporting all popular control systems.
